LDS Nursery

I'm in the nursery now, so that's where my writing will be focused for a while. Here are the materials I'm creating. I've also linked to older articles, although now that we have a new manual, some of them may need updating.

Nursery Sharing Times: We're trying to prepare our senior nursery for Sunbeams by having more structure. We're doing very simple scripture story sharing times for them. As I do them, I'll put them here. They also make good gathering time or story time activities and can be used for Family Home Evenings.

Nursery Games Active games to play while waiting for parents or the music leader.

Lesson Folders Keep Nursery Running Nursery is fun, but rather labor-intensive. Here's how to create lesson folders to make life easier and even allow last-minute subs to teach.

Our Nursery Schedules and Staffing: How we organize our staff and set up our schedules for a three stage nursery. (Seperate junior and senior nursery half a year, and combined nursery from January to June.)

Alternate Schedule for Very Young Nursery: With a nursery class that is almost all under two years old, we've adapted to a simpler schedule.

Our Nursery Toys: A list of the toys we currently use in nursery.

Nursery Lessons: I am again teaching nursery, so I will be posting my lesson plans online. As I post each one, it will be listed here.
